Stay Active During the Summer

As school is getting out, we all are finding things to do with our newly won free time. Hanging out with friends, working, and just relaxing are typical activities you might be doing. There is one thing you should do for sure, keep exercising. During summer, the opportunities for being active are increased drastically. You can go swimming at the local pool or lake, go play soccer somewhere, or grab a couple friends and go play ultimate frisbee in a park nearby. You can go for a jog without having to worry about slipping on ice or trudging through snow. One important thing to do though is protect your skin. The sun doesn't leave, and neither will the risk of skin cancer. Be sure to pick up some broad spectrum sunscreen from the store before going out, and be sure to reapply every 1-2 hours.
